Jimmy Fallon played a fly on the wall Thursday in a conversation between First Lady Melania Trump and President Donald Trump about Valentine’s Day. (Watch the video below.)
Joked Fallon: “Earlier tonight Melania was like, ’Did you forget again? Did you?” And Trump said, ‘Oh no, I got Elon something.’”
Fallon’s tongue-in-cheek suggestion that Trump’s bromance with Elon Musk has blossomed into something more might make sense. Dismantling the federal government and attacking perceived wokeness together could make any pals grow closer, right?
But as the court and some lawsuits question Musk’s authority and a magazine depicts Musk as the true occupant of the White House’s Oval Office, things could get complicated for this never-were-and-never-will-be power couple.
