Stephen Colbert Turns Trump’s Newest Boast Into A Very Uncomfortable Reminder

President Donald Trump bragged about something he’s “really good” at ― and “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert turned the moment into an awkward reminder for the president on Monday.

Trump last week said he was adding a massive 90,000-square-foot ballroom to the White House.

“Now, presidents are allowed to do a little renovation, of course,” Colbert pointed out. “The Obamas added a vegetable garden. Truman and Nixon both added bowling lanes. And Jimmy Carter famously added a sex dungeon.”

Trump said his addition is something people have wanted for 150 years.

It just wasn’t something prior presidents were capable of achieving.

“There’s never been a president that was good at ballroom,” Trump boasted. “I’m really good.”

“To be fair, he’s right,” Colbert agreed. “Trump is good at ballroom. I mean, just check out this footage of him dancing it up. Hey, who’s that guy?”

That footage showed Trump at a party with his then-pal Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender who died in jail of an apparent suicide in 2019.

Trump has been trying to duck new questions about his relationship with Epstein, especially after his administration blocked the release of files on the case despite promising otherwise.

Elon Musk, another former Trump pal, tweeted that there’s a reason Trump won’t release the files: Trump himself is in them.

Musk later deleted the tweet, but Attorney General Pam Bondi reportedly told Trump that his name appeared “multiple times.”
