“The View’s” Ana Navarro isn’t holding back when it comes to the chatter surrounding Meghan Markle and Gwyneth Paltrow.
During a Thursday segment on Women’s History Month, host Joy Behar brought up the topic, referencing a moment when Paltrow was asked by Vanity Fair whether Markle was “moving in on her territory as a lifestyle guru.”
Behar read Paltrow’s response aloud: “She said she was raised to see other women as friends and not foes and competition and that everyone deserves a shot.”
Opening the floor for discussion, Behar turned to her co-hosts, and Navarro wasted no time making her stance clear.

“What men get asked that?” Navarro said. “Someone’s always trying to pick catfights amongst women.”
Sara Haines chimed in, saying that “the best women we’ve ever seen — we feature so many on the show — are people that make room at the table.”
“There are two types of women I’ve run into, the ones that will shank you and the ones that will lift you,” Haines added. “I usually go towards the ones that will lift me.”
Panelist Sunny Hostin also added to the conversation by stating “that women that are comfortable with themselves don’t compete with other women.”
Navarro then circled back, offering her take on the “With Love, Meghan” star’s broader cultural impact.
“You know what’s amazing, though? What an influence on culture Meghan Markle has,” she said. “I feel like she gets discussed all the time. Some people like her, some people hate her, some people don’t care.”
