“Saturday Night Live’s” Colin Jost thinks President Donald Trump may have damned himself with one of his latest Truth Social posts.
The “Weekend Update” co-host said the president had ordered himself “a one-way ticket to hell” when he posted an AI-generated image of himself as pope online Friday night.
“Who posts a photo of themselves dressed like a guy who died a week ago?” the comedian wondered.
“Trump was at the pope’s funeral,” Jost went on. “That means he walked past an open casket and was like ‘Oh, we should do a Who Wore It Best.’”
He also warned the president about his second-in-command, telling him, “If Trump really wants to be pope, he should probably stay away from JD Vance.”
The vice president was one of the last people to have an audience with Pope Francis before his death last month.
People started counting their blessings after the president told reporters his top pick for next pontiff earlier this week.
“I’d like to be pope,” Trump winked. “That’d be my number one choice.”
