‘Daily Show’ Spots The 1 ‘Crazy’ Part Of DOJ’s Epstein Findings

The Daily Show” correspondent Ronny Chieng slammed Attorney General Pam Bondi on Tuesday over her claim about Jeffrey Epstein’s so-called client list, the existence of which the Justice Department and FBI struck down in a memo.

“I’ve never been ghosted by a conspiracy before. I mean, this is crazy, I could’ve sworn that someone said there was an Epstein client list,” he said before playing a clip of Bondi, whose past comments contradict the DOJ’s findings.

Chieng swiftly answered his own question.

“Oh yeah, the fucking attorney general of the United States said the client list was on her desk! Let me guess, your desk also hung itself?” he quipped.

The release of the memo, which also found no evidence that the disgraced financier was murdered as he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges, has sparked massive right-wing backlash.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt — when confronted with Bondi’s comments by Fox NewsPeter Doocy on Tuesday — claimed that President Donald Trump’s AG was referring to “the entirety of all of the paperwork, all of the paper in relation to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.”

Chieng stressed that Bondi was “supposed to release the pedophile list.”

“If we wanted an attorney general to cover up sex crimes, we would’ve stuck with Matt Gaetz, OK?” joked Chieng of the ex-congressman, who withdrew his name from consideration to be Trump’s AG amid sexual misconduct allegations.

“At this point, it’s like the only way we can learn about who is a certified pedophile is if Kendrick Lamar makes a song about them.”
