“The Daily Show” host Desi Lydic on Tuesday was temporarily stunned into silence over what’s being described as the purge of top officials at the FBI by President Donald Trump’s administration, amid the reported targeting of agents who investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.
“What the fuck?” asked Lydic.
“These agents were doing their job enforcing the law and now they’re getting fired,” she continued. “That is now how it works. I cannot believe I have to explain firing to the star of ‘The Apprentice.’ That was your whole fake job.”

“This is obviously just the beginning,” Lydic warned. “Trump is going to be targeting everyone that’s ever come after him.”
Then she challenged Trump: “And I just want to say, I’m not scared. So, Mr. Trump. Bring it on. Bring it on. That’s coming from me. Jordan Klepper. K-l-e-p-p-e-r.”
