‘He Was Found Liable For It’: Jimmy Kimmel Gives Canada Urgent Warning About Trump

Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday expressed sympathy for Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who earlier in the day visited the White House to meet with President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly insulted, attacked and belittled his country.

“It was like an Ewok going to a meeting on the Death Star,” Kimmel said.

Once inside the White House, however, much of Trump’s bluster vanished.

“It was as if they were a couple of old pals,” Kimmel said, and rolled footage of Trump calling Canada “a very special place” and insisting that the only thing he wanted from the country was “friendship.”

Carney said Canada was “not for sale” and would “never” become a U.S. state, as Trump has repeatedly demanded.

“Never say never,” Trump countered. “Never say never.”

That led to Kimmel’s warning.

“That’s true,” he said. “He doesn’t take no for an answer. In fact, he was found liable for it in a court of law.”
