Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan has issued a cheeky response to an eyebrow-raising claim about his self-pleasuring habits.
Last week, comedian Jon Shefsky shared a video segment on Morgan as part of his “Jacket Report” series, in which he examines a male celebrity’s hands in order to determine how many times a week they “jack it,” or masturbate.
In the clip, Shefsky offers his humorous assessment of Morgan’s hands, eventually concluding: “I’m going to say 20 times a week.”
Two days after the video was posted on Shefsky’s Instagram, Morgan himself responded in the comments, noting that his wife, “One Tree Hill” actor Hilarie Burton, had spotted it and passed it along.
“It’s some interesting research,” the “Walking Dead” and “Grey’s Anatomy” actor quipped. “I can’t confirm nor deny the 20 A WEEK?!?! That’s a heavy workload for anyone… much less an old fart who’s married to a smoking hot younger lady and either on set or being a dad/farmer.”
“TWENTY?! Cheers to ME!” he continued. “Bravo dude. We do appreciate a good laugh even if at my expense! Keep up the solid research!”

Morgan’s response no doubt gave Shefsky’s video a boost in viewership. As of Monday afternoon, the clip had received more than 176,000 likes.
A day after Morgan’s comment, Shefsky himself thanked the actor for taking the time to view his video.
“honored that I gave you and your lovely wife a big laugh!!!” he wrote.

As Morgan alluded in his comment, he and Burton spend their time out of the spotlight on a working farm in New York’s Hudson Valley, where they are raising sons Gus, 15, and George, 7.
Morgan hasn’t turned his back on Hollywood entirely, though. He’s currently reprising his role as Negan on AMC’s “The Walking Dead: Dead City,” a spinoff of the original “Walking Dead,” which wrapped in 2022. He also hosts the NBC reality series “Destination X.”
