Jimmy Fallon said Tuesday that President Joe Biden’s sweeping pardon of his son Hunter Biden will have far-reaching consequences — perhaps farther than any of us would care to imagine. (Watch the video below.)
“The pardon is upsetting a lot of people,” the “Tonight Show” host explained in his monologue. “Experts say this could really hurt Biden’s reelection bid in 2028.”
The outgoing president, who dropped out of the recent White House race amid doubts about his mental acuity, would be nearly 86 on Election Day in four years.
As nutty as that sounds, Fallon imagined the advice that President-elect Donald Trump might give to Biden: “Have 50 scandals at once so people can’t focus on just one.”
