Jimmy Kimmel slammed Donald Trump’s golf game on Monday after the president bragged about his performance on the green while a massive storm system devastated the U.S., killing at least 42 people this weekend.
“This, of course, comes after Trump chided Joe Biden last year for being on vacation during Hurricane Helene. If you scored hypocrisy like golf, he’d be 30 strokes under par right now,” Kimmel quipped.
“Can you imagine if Biden bragged about winning a golf tournament during a disaster? Sean Hannity would have a rage boner for weeks.”
Trump, in a post to his Truth Social platform, called it a “great honor” on Sunday as he claimed he won the club championship (again) at his Trump International Golf Club in Florida.
Hours later, he weighed in on the severe storms in a separate post.
Trump, who has been criticized for his handling of natural disasters before, has cost taxpayers millions with his golf outings and his wild claims about his game were tackled in sportswriter Rick Reilly’s 2019 book “Commander In Cheat.”
Kimmel continued to chip away at Trump’s “words of comfort” for those impacted by the deadly tornadoes and wildfires.
“Who are the other players in this tournament? I mean seriously, are there other golfers or is it just Eric with his Fisher-Price clubs?” Kimmel joked. “It’s preposterous.”

He later congratulated “Lie-ger Woods” for his latest win before playing a brutal 2023 clip of Trump shanking a golf ball as he questioned how the president could beat “every other golfer every year.”
