Julia Fox’s Latest Wacky Fashion Stunt Has Us Speechless

While other stars vie to be fashion royalty, Julia Fox is relishing in the role of court jester.

The “Uncut Gems” star proudly played the fool at Tuesday night’s Fashion Trust Awards in Los Angeles, where she paired a sophisticated Marni dress with mime-inspired makeup.

Fox’s porcelain face, scarlet pout and cartoonishly rosy cheeks perfectly matched her white poplin frock which was splashed with red roses and black botanical accents that were as dark as her peaked pencil-thin brows and double winged eyeliner.

A giant floppy hat sat atop her tight chartreuse pin curls, and she slipped into shiny round-toe Mary Janes that screamed clown shoe-chic.

The actor, memoirist and one-time dominatrix never misses an opportunity to sport an out-of-the-box look, having donned a condom-adorned tube top, couture dry cleaner bag, blue Statue of Liberty homage, and tons of BDSM-inspired attire over the years.

She recently made waves at Vanity Fair’s exclusive Oscar after-party, where she evoked the goddess Venus wearing a nude mesh dress with flowing brunette locks that strategically swept over her most intimate areas.

Fox has said her fashion philosophy is really about letting her freak flag fly.

Admitting she only dresses to impress “the girls and the gays” in an interview on the “Zach Sang Show” last summer, she said, “You really only live once, and you should take every opportunity to express your uniqueness.”

While Fox said following trends may let you “blend in,” she told Sang, “You are not going to find your people” unless you “unmask and be like, ‘Hey, I’m a freak!’ so the other freaks in the room [can] be like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re my person.’”
