Kylie Kelce Planned To Wait Until Marriage To Have Sex —Until Her Mom Said This

Kylie Kelce really thought she was going to wait until marriage to have sex, until a comment from her mom made her reconsider.

Kelce, who affectionately calls her mother “Lil Lis,” recalled the sweet story during her latest “Not Gonna Lie” podcast episode with her guest, rugby player extraordinaire Ilona Maher.

“I like, bombarded her, and, like, came in and sat in her room while she was doing something,” Kelce shared. “I told her, I was like, ‘I think I’m gonna save myself for marriage.’ And she was like, ‘I think you’re gonna change your mind.’”

“And I was like, no, I’m pretty sure I’m pure,” Kelce quipped.

Kelce said her mom then “doubled down” on her comments.

“She was like, ‘Hey, you gotta test drive a car before you buy it, right?’”

The podcaster praised her mom’s frankness, and said her willingness to talk about sex made it feel “less risky” and “less scary.”

“It opened up like, if my choice is not to stay pure towards marriage ― news flash, didn’t stick, naturally ― but if it wasn’t that, my mom was like, ‘You’re good. It’s okay,’” the high school field hockey coach shared.

Kelce said she hopes to carry on her mom’s openness into future delicate conversations with her own children.

Kylie and Jason Kelce recently welcomed their fourth daughter, Finnley “Finn” Kelce, in March. The two also are parents to Wyatt, 5; Elliotte, 4; and Bennett, 2.

The podcaster has spoken candidly about the transition to life with four kids, and joked with her listeners that she still “has no idea what I am doing.”

“If I had to describe the change going from three kids to four kids in two words or less: ‘Holy shit?’” she said in her first podcast back from maternity leave.

Kelce also shared that she’s “still Googling things because that doesn’t stop, either.”
