Stephen Colbert said the economic turmoil that marked President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office isn’t going away anytime soon.
The “Late Show” host noted a report on Thursday that sales plunged at McDonald’s, a chain Trump loves so much he even did a photo op “working” at one last year.
Analysts believe the problems are due to economic uncertainties caused by Trump’s policies.
Colbert broke out his impression of the president.
“My God, what have I done?” he cried out. “God, no, I’ve hurt the only one I’ve ever loved. How will I explain this to my adopted Irish son, Phil A. O’Fish?”
