Scarlett Johansson found the perfect way to make Michael Che eat his words during this weekend’s episode on “Saturday Night Live.”
During the return of the “Weekend Update” Joke Swapping bit, the Marvel star had Che read off the most mortifying apology for a “tasteless” quip he had her husband, Colin Jost, tell about her private parts late last year.
“The fact is, I was just lashing out because I’m jealous,” he said, barely able to keep a straight face. “I’ve never ever seen a human vagina. And notice I said ‘human’ because I once spent the summer on a farm.”
“Maybe I’m just embarrassed about my own body,” the fake news anchor continued. “I can’t even take my hoodie off during sex because I have more nipples than a pregnant dog.”
Then turning to Jost, Che forced himself to say, “I’ve told thousands of jokes on ‘Update’ and gotten dozens of laughs, but I’ve never said the three most important words of all: I love you.”
The humiliating bit was payback for last December’s “Saturday Night Live” joke swap, when Jost announced Costco was removing the roast beef sandwich from its menu and then said, “But I ain’t trippin’, I’ve been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid.”
Backstage cameras caught Johansson reacting to the crude quip in real time, and she knew Che had to get his comeuppance.

She teased her plan in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, telling the magazine, “I feel like it’s almost my responsibility to come up with some way to burn Michael back. Retaliation, I’d say, should be expected.”
