Seth Meyers Has Hilarious ‘Roman Emperor’ Moment Over MAGA Meltdown

“Late Night” host Seth Meyers couldn’t hide his amusement at the latest bust-up between two high-profile supporters of President Donald Trump.

Internet personality Tucker Carlson and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) went head-to-head in an awkward interview released this week during which Cruz failed to answer basic questions about Iran. Carlson has voiced strong opposition to U.S. intervention against the country amid its war with Israel, while Cruz backs it.

Meyers aired footage of the fiery exchange, then quipped: “I will say, this whole thing, I’ve never felt more like a Roman emperor. I just want someone to feed me grapes while I say, ‘Let them fight.’”

Meyers mimed eating a grape from a bunch held above him, before adding: “It’s like watching a sequel to ‘Alien vs. Predator’ called, ‘I can’t believe I’m saying this but the Predator is making some very salient points.’”
