Seth Meyers on Wednesday spotlighted a moment he thought showed President Donald Trump as “actually broken.”
It happened during Trump’s recent visit to Scotland, when a reporter asked if the president’s push for a U.S.-European Union trade deal was partly an effort to distract from the Jeffrey Epstein story.
Trump, clearly exasperated, shot back: “Oh, you gotta be kidding with that.”
“I’ve seen him look upset before,” Meyers said on “Late Night,” “but I’ve never seen Trump look actually broken.”
“You could just hear it in his voice. He sounds like he’s been sitting at LaGuardia for nine hours and his flight just got delayed a third time,” he added, before impersonating Trump: “Oh, you gotta be kidding me. I mean, fuck it, I’m going back to Buffalo Wild Wings.’”
