Social Media Users Have Fun With ‘Mint Flavored’ Jeremy Strong’s Golden Globes Outfit

Jeremy Strong’s bold Golden Globes look is being likened to everything from “maritime chic” to “Paddington cosplay” and the “ecstasy dealer of Emerald City.”

The “Succession” star walked the red carpet in a teal Loro Piana suit at Sunday’s awards show, paired with complementary tinted frames, a white turtleneck and the pièce de résistance: a matching bucket hat.

Strong won his first Golden Globe in 2022 for his performance as Kendall Roy in the “Succession” drama series. He was nominated this year for his supporting role in “The Apprentice.” His former co-star, Kieran Culkin, ended up nabbing the prize in the movie category for “A Real Pain.”

But Strong, usually known to have an affinity for the color brown when it comes to fashion, stole the show with his outfit — which looked particularly outrageous when he was seated at the ceremony:

On the red carpet, Strong ran into “Ripley” star Andrew Scott, who went for a similarly daring shade of pale blue with his own suit.

“You look so good,” Scott told Strong.

“Pastel universe,” Strong quipped.

“We’re the colors of the sea,” Scott added. “We’re maritime chic.”
