Machine Gun Kelly is setting the record straight on something he brought on himself.
The rocker, whose real name is Colson Baker, recently welcomed his first child with actor Megan Fox.
MGK introduced his little one in an Instagram post last week, telling followers that his daughter was born on March 27.
“She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed,” he wrote, alongside her birth date and a smattering of emojis.
While the comments were mostly filled with messages of congratulations, it seems some people misinterpreted part of his message ― “celestial seed” ― as MGK revealing his daughter’s name.
The musician later posted on his Instagram story on Monday to clear up any sort of misconceptions.
“Wait guys…her name isn’t Celestial Seed,” he said over a TikTok video apparently claiming that was the baby’s name.
“Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we’re ready,” he added, referring to Fox.
Fox and MGK announced in November that they were expecting their first child together, after previously experiencing pregnancy loss.

The two, who got engaged in 2022, split just a few weeks after their baby announcement.
MGK has another daughter, 15-year-old Casie, from a prior relationship.
